Keep Little Elm Beautiful (KLEB) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2005 by a group of individuals passionate about the environmental quality of life in their hometown.
We are a volunteer-based community organization dedicated to litter prevention, recycling and waste reduction, beautification, and community improvement.
Since 2005, KLEB has been a certified local affiliate of Keep America Beautiful Inc., the nation’s leading community improvement organization. We are also an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful.
Litter Prevention
A beautiful community is one without litter, a goal KLEB believes we can realize when we all work together.
We sponsor many community litter and trash clean-ups, working with neighborhood groups, volunteers, and sponsors to protect our environment and improve the quality of life for everyone in Little Elm.
Recycling
Keep Little Elm Beautiful works in partnership with the City of Little Elm Sustainability Office, Community Waste Disposal (CWD) and members of the community to find ways to expand recycling, and we continue to advocate for more effective recycling programs and policies in Little Elm.
It’s part of what we do through our commitment to a cleaner, healthier environment and improved quality of life for present and future Little Elm residents and visitors.
Public Awareness
One of the aims of Keep Little Elm Beautiful is to promote public awareness and understanding of the effects of litter on our environment, economy, and the quality of life in Little Elm
We continuously look for ways to contribute to education and information sharing that increases awareness of recycling, litter prevention, and environmental conservation.
